Hey Guys,
I know the crypto market is looking absolutely brutal today, but I have a video about a crypto project that might help “lift you up” so to speak.
I am of course talking about Helium, a crypto project that's more important than ever given current events. It's one that I first covered last year and added to my portfolio not long after.
For those unfamiliar, Helium is a peer to peer network. Put simply, it's decentralised internet infrastructure. For now Helium's focus on long range signals or LongFi for IoT devices, but this focus is shifting to 5G, which is a short range signal for internet and other such stuff.
Helium's network is sustained by open software and open hardware devices called hotspots which you can make from scratch or buy from an authorized seller. Over 600 thousand hotspots and counting have been deployed, and another 2.4 million are in the works.
The HNT cryptocurrency has performed quite well all things considered, and it looks like it could have a very good year for many reasons, namely the phasing out of 3G. If Helium is able to capture just a fragment of that market share… HNT is going to do very well to say the least.
