It's that time of the week again as my crypto news is live!
I know that it's been a rough weekend in the crypto market, even by crypto standards.
As you can imagine there was no shortage of macro and micro factors crushing crypto coins and tokens, and it seems ETH took one of the biggest beatings. No spoilers here I'm afraid – you'll have to watch the video for that.
As for the main macro factor, official inflation in the United States hit yet another record high, and with the Federal Reserve expected to announce its interest rate raise later this week, investors are worried that the Fed could hike more aggressively than they have been led to believe. This could cause the crypto market to crash even further.
On the flipside, the crypto market seems to be running out of sell pressure. As I mentioned in my weekly newsletter, Bitcoin miners have all but stopped selling their BTC, and there are many reports that institutions are eyeing these price levels for BTC as a buying opportunity. I'm sure there's a similar effect in place for ETH too, despite all the FUD.
