It's been one hell of a crazy week in crypto. Not only from a price action point of view, but also who that extreme price action is impacting.
If you have been around the crypto space for long enough, you will no doubt have heard of Three Arrows Capital (3AC). This was perhaps one of the most well-known funds in the space. A fund that managed to turn $1.2m in seed capital in 2012 to a $10bn behemoth in the most recent bull cycle.
However, over the past two weeks, this fund has been hit with a perfect storm that has, by some accounts, brought it into $1bn in debt.
How did this happen and what could this mean for the future of the fund, its founders and the broader crypto markets? Could there be other companies that were exposed to them and are we likely to see more contagion spreading?
That's exactly what I will be exploring in my latest video. I will be taking a deep dive into the moves that the fund has been making over the past 2 months and how some of these trades got the better of them.
