I'm sure you've all heard about ChatGPT by now, but I bet most of you don't know about the history of the company, who owns it, and what its endgame is. You may also be wondering how this AI will take crypto to the next level.
That's what I'm here to explain!
ChatGPT was created by OpenAI, which was supposed to be an open source response to the closed source AI's being developed by big tech. Unfortunately OpenAI seems to have drifted from its roots, so much so that co-founder Elon Musk is against the company.
To be blunt, it looks like OpenAI is about to be taken over by some powerful people. This is a problem because corporations and governments have been concerned about so called ‘disinformation'. It looks like ChatGPT may be a trojan horse for censorship.
