I truly believe that ease of use is the key to the mass adoption of cryptocurrency, and I don't mean in terms of investment. The unique use cases we find in crypto like DeFi and NFTs play a huge role in its value and growth, and this is where UI needs the most improvement IMO.
This is why it caught my eye when Solana's Phantom wallet raised 109 million dollars the other week. It's odd that a browser wallet would raise so much money when it's already complete for all intents and purposes. Well, it turns out there is a lot more here than meets the eye.
Phantom was founded less than a year ago, and it's already seen over 2 million downloads from Solana users. However, Solana is the first of many stops for this crypto project. Phantom's goal is to go multi-chain, and the next stop is Ethereum.
This is partially why I decided to make a dedicated Phantom wallet tutorial, and that's what I have for you today. It's by far one of the most user friendly browser extension wallet I've ever used. And, assuming that it can execute on its multichain vision, it could challenge some of the most established web wallets out there.
