Part of the reasons that NFTs have become such a hot topic recently is because of some of the crazy prices that they have collected on the open market.
Some NFTs are going for thousands, some for hundreds of thousands and some have even managed to reach that heavenly multi-million dollar mark.
So, I thought that it would be quite useful to take you guys through some of the most expensive NFT sales ever!
It's my top 10 list of most expensive NFTs and includes a series of different NFTs, ranging from fine art to digital collectibles and gaming assets.
These include the likes of the 91 million dollar worth ‘The Merge’ artwork by anonymous artist Murat Pak, the universally-famous, ‘5000 Days’ NFT by Beeple, Tyler Hobbs’ Fidenza #313, an early World Wide Web implementation NFT sold for $5.4m, a Bored Ape Yacht Club Serum, a BAYC auction at Sotheby’s, Christie’s Cryptopunks auction, some of the most expensive virtual land NFTs, and those Mystic Axie gaming tokens.
