Hey Guys,
It's been exactly one week since I landed in Miami for the Bitcoin Conference, so that makes today the perfect day to give you a breakdown of what I saw, what I didn't see, and what it all means for cryptocurrency.
Now I'm sure you're all wondering: will I be going again next year? To be honest, I'm not sure. Don't get me wrong, it was an amazing experience, but it definitely felt a lot more geared to institutions than I expected, and that's not really my scene.
To be clear, the fact that a conference about Bitcoin attracted so many institutions is a pretty big deal, and I'm pretty sure that it was the largest financial conference of any kind in the United States (for this year anyhow).
Bitcoin conferences weren't always like this, and I found some interesting stuff while digging into the background of this event and how it's changed over the years. Even if I don't attend, I'll be keeping a close eye on the next one, because this is an event unlike any other.
